Advanced RobotC Programming – Afternoon

RobotC IDE

Utilizing Carnegie Mellon University curriculum, the student will be taken through advanced programming of a robot using a programming environment called RobotC.

Advanced C programming techniques will be discussed and taught to take a robot to the next level of automation.

This is the second of four courses in the curriculum on Robotics. Each of the courses builds upon the other to allow for more sophisticated control of your robot.

RobotC CompititionWhat you will learn in this course:

  • Advanced programming constructs
  • Adaptable logic
  • Advanced sensor processing
  • Program optimization
  • Networkable programming

What will we do?

  • Program a Vex Cortex robot to perform simple and complex tasks autonomously
  • Compete in an autonomous obstacle course for fun and bragging rights
