Makerspaces are, by the simplest definition, exactly what they sound like: A place to make something. In an industrial office complex in Totowa, the 6,000-square-foot Maker Depot includes a wood shop, a metal shop, electronics and robotics area, computers for programming classes, 3-D printers and laser engravers.
